Dear Margaret is turning 1!

On Monday (aka Industry Night), January 17, 2022, slide into DM for a very Canadian celebration featuring burgers and poutine, along with Labatt’s and shots of Canadian whisky—and likely a soundtrack exclusively of iconic Canadian rock band Rush.

We’ll have two items on the menu (with no menu modifications or substitutions!):

The Canuck Burger is a griddled CDK beef patty topped with housemade peameal bacon, cheddar, lettuce, onion, pickle, and garlic aïoli ($15).

Dear Margaret’s Poutine starts with Kennebec frites fried in beef tallow, fresh Wisconsin cheese curds, and all topped with the velvety gravy known as sauce poutine ($15).

Labatt’s and Canadian Club (neither of which are offered on the regular beverage menu) are available only with the purchase of food.

All are welcome. No reservations; first come, first served starting at 5 p.m. until we run out. Proof of vaccination required. 

A year in review: Dear Margaret first opened its doors for takeaway only on January 15, 2021. Onsite dining began with five tables on the patio on May 26, followed by the official dining room opening on June 30. We launched our wine & beer program November 6.
